ORDERING

For your convenience, we offer secure on-line ordering that encrypts all personal information that cannot be read by others as the information travels over the Internet. Orders may also be placed by phone by calling us toll free at 1-877-CORP-GFT (877-267-7438) or 713-960-4400 . Please Note: Desserts that are shipped to destinations outside of the Houston Metro Area will ship within 48 hours of ordering.

LOCAL DELIVERY (HOUSTON METRO AREA ONLY)

Delivery within the Houston Metro Area is available through a local messenger service. When placing an order, you may indicate a time range during which delivery should be made. Price is based on distance. Rates begin at $17.00. Please call for a quote to your location.

Local Delivery After Hours and Weekends

There is a $15.00 charge added to all deliveries made after 5:00 PM and on the weekends.

Requiring Signatures At Time of Delivery (Houston Metro Area Only)

The courier will attempt to leave the delivery with a neighbor if no one is available at the time of delivery.

SHIPPING (OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSTON METRO AREA)

Dessert Gallery ships to all states in the continental U.S. All products are shipped exclusively via UPS overnight and, upon leaving Dessert Gallery premises, will arrive between noon and 3pm the following day. Please note that we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes.

Shipping Charges

We take special care of our desserts when shipping to friends and family outside of Houston. Cakes are shipped overnight in special insulated packaging with dry ice. When your cake arrives, it should look and taste as fabulous and fresh as if you picked it up in person. There is an additional $15 handling fee for all UPS shipments. This fee is automatically added to your total.

Shipping Dates (Outside of the Houston Metro Area)

We ship Monday – Thursday to arrive Tuesday – Friday. We can ship your package on Friday to arrive on Saturday for an additional UPS fee.

Tracking Packages

You will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail and UPS tracking number for your package on the day that your package leaves our premises. To track your package, simply click on the link within the email to follow the package on its journey to your recipient.

Incorrect Addresses

UPS delivers Dessert Gallery packages to residential and business addresses Tuesday through Friday. Packages are shipped next day for delivery between noon and 3:00 PM. Please ensure the shipping address is correct. If an incorrect address is provided, Dessert Gallery will work with UPS to redirect the package so your gift is delivered in a timely manner. Dessert Gallery cannot be held responsible for delayed or failed delivery if shipping address is incorrect. Any additional charges incurred from UPS for incorrect delivery address will be passed on to the customer.

Requiring Signatures At Time of Delivery (Outside of the Houston Metro Area)

UPS will obtain a signature at the time of delivery; this could be an in-person signature, a signed Attempted Delivery Notice, or a Signature on File at the local service center for the recipient. If no one is available, the driver will automatically attempt delivery the next business day before 5:00 PM. After two attempts, the package will be held at the local UPS office until delivery arrangements are made. In most cases the local UPS office will return the package to the sender in 7 business days, unless previous arrangements have been made.

Liability

Dessert Gallery is not liable for misdirected and/or delayed packages if incomplete or inaccurate address information was provided at the time the order was placed. Dessert Gallery is not responsible for any damages or non-delivery of products if the intended recipient is not available to receive the package. Dessert Gallery is not responsible for damaged packages due to severe weather conditions, such as heat, cold, rain, etc. at the delivery point.

Refunds or Exchanges

If you are not completely satisfied with our products, please contact us within five business days of the delivery date to discuss. We will make every effort to correct any issues on our part through replacement of a product or refund.
